Dormitory No. 16 is located at 3 Vybirska Street and provides accommodation for students of several faculties and institutes of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The building was damaged by blast waves and requires recovery of residential spaces and engineering infrastructure.
Damage to Dormitory No. 16
Dormitory No. 16, part of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute student housing system, was affected by blast waves and building damage caused by attacks on nearby areas of Kyiv.
The building houses students from multiple faculties and institutes, including the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management, Faculty of Management and Marketing, Institute of Telecommunication Systems, Publishing and Printing Institute and Faculty of Informatics and Computer Science.
The damage affected windows, doors, student rooms, roofing elements and engineering communications required for safe daily living conditions.
Recovery support will help restore student housing infrastructure and maintain safe accommodation for students continuing their education during wartime.

Replacement of damaged windows and glazing systems protecting residential and shared spaces.
Doors & Interior Access
Restoration of damaged doors, access points and internal circulation areas throughout the dormitory.

Repair of affected residential rooms and common student living areas.
Roof & Engineering Systems
Recovery of roofing elements and engineering communications needed for safe accommodation.
