Dormitory No. 4
Supporting the recovery of student housing and resilience infrastructure at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
Dormitory No. 4 is a corridor-type student residence located at 7 Akademika Yanhelia Street and houses students of the Faculty of Biotechnology and Biotechnics.
Built in 1952, the dormitory is located approximately 50 meters from Building 4 of the Faculty of Chemical Technology.
Damage to Dormitory No. 4
Dormitory No. 4, part of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute student housing system, was affected by blast waves and nearby attacks on university infrastructure.
The building suffered damage to furniture, windows, doors, student rooms and engineering communications required for daily residential use.
Due to its close location to Building 4 of the Faculty of Chemical Technology, the dormitory experienced additional impact from the surrounding damaged area.
Recovery support will help restore safe accommodation conditions and preserve student housing infrastructure for current and future residents.
